Cee adopted the rapper name Central Cee for the first time in January 2015, when he appeared alongside J Hus, Bonkaz, and others on the “Ain’t On Nuttin Remix.” In February 2015, he released his song “StreetHeat Freestyle,” and in August 2016, he released the single “Pull Up.” He released his first album, “EP 17,” in 2017 with eight tracks.

He released his breakthrough singles, “Day in the Life” and “Loading,” in 2020 through GRM Daily. In March 2021, Central Cee self-released his first mixtape, “Wild West,” which reached number one on the UK R&B Albums Chart and number two on the UK Albums Chart. His songs “Loading” and “Commitment Issues,” both from his mixtape, reached the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. The lead single from his second mixtape 23, which was announced in November 2021, was titled “Obsessed With You,” and it reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart in September 2021.
